TURBO-EPXTM

Turbo-EPX is a unique product made with a 12-strand Dyneema® core and a polyester jacket designed to minimize movement over the core. This durable jacket provides grip and protects the strength-member core from degradation. The core and jacket of Turbo-EPX work in harmony, preventing excess cover slack during mooring operations, which translates into longer service life. This construction creates a firm, round, torque-free rope, much like wire rope, but lighter in weight. Turbo-EPX delivers excellent performance on all types of winches and offers much better resistance to flex and tension fatigue than wire. It is Samthane coated to improve service life, reduce snagging, enhance abrasion resistance, and prevent contamination. This product design requires a specialized technique. A standard cover repair kit is available and easy to use in the field.
