TURBO-RCTM

Turbo-RC has the firmness and low stretch of wire, yet only 1/6th the weight. The durable "turbo" braided jacket is very cut and abrasion resistant and protects the 12-strand single braid strength-member core, made of Dyneema® SK78. Turbo-RC spools on winches easily, does not rust or "fish hook" like wire rope, and it floats. Turbo-RC is specially designed for improved service life in applications where creep results from long-term static loads. Both cover and core are coated with a Samthane coating. Turbo-RC has been verified by ABS according to MEG4, and is type approved by ABS. Turbo-RC is available with the option of sustainable, bio-sourced fiber. Now, reducing your impact on the planet doesn't mean reducing quality or sacrificing strength.

Line Design Break Force (LDBF): The minimum force that a new, dry, spliced mooring line will break when tested according to MEG4 appendix B. Linear Density (LD): Linear density of line measured at reference load. Load Bearing Linear Density (LBLD): Linear density of load bearing member of the line, measured at reference load per CI-1500A.
