COMPOSITE THIMBLE
The Composite Thimble is a means of attaching synthetic ropes to other ropes or equipment, typically via a shackle. Products made from composite materials have exceptional wear resistance and limited swelling in water, which provides dimensional stability.
They offer resistance to edge loading and misalignment even with the heaviest loads, and are appropriately suited to handle the high loading associated with high performance (Class II) ropes.
