AMSTEEL® X

AmSteel-X comes standard with hi-visibility colors, permanent twist identification, length markings and a patent pending end for end indication that you can recognize at a glance. Optimized for mooring, the multi-colored strands make splicing, inspecting, and identifying wear zones easier than ever.  AmSteel-X sizes are MEG-4 ready, approved, and come with MEG4 documentation.  AmSteel-X is a non-rotational, torque-free, 12-strand single braid made with reduced creep Dyneema® SK78.  Combined with Samson’s proprietary coating method and Samthane coating, AmSteel-X provides abrasion and tension fatigue resistance for superior wear.  Increasing safety and efficiency in mooring with every improvement we make, AmSteel-X has been verified by ABS according to MEG4 and is type approved by RMRS. AmSteel-X is available with the option of sustainable, bio-sourced fiber. Now, reducing your impact on the planet doesn't mean reducing quality or sacrificing strength.
