Classroom
Introduction

Classroom provides virtual training tools on the most important topics related to line management – everything from installation to line life cycle management & retirement. Whether it be personnel onboarding, a refresher course, or required specialized training regularly updated content delivered by Samson experts will enable comprehensive and consistent training.



Inspection: Double Braid
& Jacketed Ropes

This course will review the common types of damage that can occur with synthetic double braid and jacketed ropes, as well as best practices to perform a routine line inspection.

This course will review the common types of damage that can occur with synthetic 12-strand rope, as well as best practices to perform a routine line inspection.



Rope Usage:
Hand Lines

This course will provide general guidance for proper use of Samson synthetic hand lines in the field, and discuss best practice principles for operational and equipment considerations, and rope storage.

Stringing Lines

This course will provide guidance for the proper use of Samson synthetic stringing lines in the field.  We will discuss considerations for stringing line selection, what to look for before installing a new line, and best practices for use, as well as provide tips for proper installation and maintenance.

Splicer Certification
Program Overview

In this course we will cover everything you need to know about Samson's Splicer Certification program. The program includes, training requirements, certificate types, terminology, submission and evaluation of samples, as well as recertification.



Winch Line
Installation

In this winch installation course, we will delve into the connection between the rope and the winch, and learn how different winch connection methods require different considerations. Then, we’ll discuss recommendations for proper installation to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
